Allison Schneider
Physiotherapist
Allison is an energetic person and a competitive athlete. She competed in varsity rowing and hockey at the University of Guelph, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics degree. She then graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen's University. She now has over 10 years of experience and has spent much of her career serving the Whistler community. In addition to her private practice, Allison works with the World Cup Para-Alpine team, helping them prepare for the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing.
Allison’s physical health practice model is to create a positive intention for collaboration between you, the client, and the therapist. What does that mean? It means that you are an active participant in your treatment. Your individual needs, abilities, and goals will guide the care you receive. The collaboration formed through this approach to physiotherapy will build a foundation upon which you can grow and prevent future injuries. Allison utilizes a hybrid of hands-on modalities and exercises to achieve each client’s unique goals. She addresses acute concerns, uncovers underlying mechanical issues, and works through reoccurring injuries and symptoms. She has advanced training in functional dry needling, manual therapy, acupuncture, functional exercise prescription and concussion recovery.
Olga Korsensky

Olga graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree over 18 years ago and has been a practicing musculoskeletal physiotherapist ever since. Her pursuit of knowledge and constant drive for self-improvement led her to complete a Master’s degree in Physical Education along with numerous courses in manual therapy, needling, and pelvic health.
Her approach to treatment is evidence-based and client-centered, delivered with respect, empathy, and genuine care. Olga utilizes a variety of tools to treat, help, and prevent various work-related injuries, accidents, and overuse strains. She believes that prevention, proper biomechanics, and ergonomics are the foundations of a healthy body and mind in the workplace. In her treatments, she often employs manual therapy, needling, exercise prescription, and education.
Sonia Rico
Physiotherapist
Sonia is Franco-Spanish, born in France but has always lived between both countries. After high school, she obtained her bachelor's degree as a physiotherapist from the EUSES School, Universidad de Girona in Spain, in 2016. Afterward, she returned to France, where she worked in a traumatology, orthopedic, and neurology clinic while studying to obtain a University Diploma as a sports physiotherapist in 2017 from the University of Medicine of Nice - CEKS. Since then, she has worked in several clinics and completed various training programs to enhance her knowledge in sports injuries, orthopedics, traumatology, reathletization, manual techniques for shoulder, knee, and back injuries, as well as injury prevention.
Trevor O’Malley

Trevor completed his Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. As a clinician, Trevor has a special interest in sports injuries, chronic pain, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
He is an advocate of evidence-based practice, and believes that education and exercise therapy are fundamental to improving rehabilitation outcomes. Currently, he has completed his Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division Level 1 certification, and continues to be involved in continuing education. Trevor is a proud member of Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia, and continues to promote physiotherapy throughout the community through volunteering.
On his weekends, Trevor enjoys spending his time in the outdoors; skiing, rock climbing, and fly-fishing.
David Zhang

David completed both his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. He now practises full-time at Bloom Therapy Wellness in Spruce Grove and consults on-site with WPC Health.
With experience in both public and private settings, David works with athletes, workers, and seniors alike. A lifelong multi-sport athlete and former sprinter for the U of A Golden Bears, he understands the value of a smooth, symptom-free return to activity.
David’s sessions blend clear education, hands-on treatment, and targeted exercise programs—always aimed at getting people back to work and the things they love as efficiently as possible.
Sara Austin

Sara graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2016. She has a background in exercise science, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2013. Sara is certified to perform both neuroanatomical acupuncture and functional dry needling. She has also completed additional training in vestibular rehabilitation, aquatic physiotherapy, and manual therapy.
Sara is passionate about helping people to reduce their pain, manage their injuries or chronic conditions, and get back to activities that they enjoy. She believes in a hands-on approach to treatment, and uses a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, acupuncture, education, and collaboration with clients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. She has an interest in the field of orthopedics, chronic pain, and vestibular conditions. In her spare time, Sara enjoys skiing, weight training, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Janet LUU

Janet graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She first encountered the realm of physiotherapy when a family member was experiencing mobility problems.
She has always admired how physiotherapy integrates physical activity into the rehabilitation process. Janet uses manual therapy as part of her treatment plan, with a focus on exercise and education. Janet believes it is important that she learns about each patient's particular experiences so that she can develop an individualized care plan that is appropriate for their injury, fitness level, and lifestyle.
Janet loves developing relationships with patients and delivering one-on-one care. When Janet is not at the clinic, she is working in a hospital setting delivering physiotherapy services to acute care patients. Janet enjoys volleyball, weightlifting, snowboarding, and golfing while she is not at work. She enjoys dining out as a way to experience new cultures and she is always on the lookout for new culinary recommendations!
Gunnar Schock

Gunnar graduated from the University of British Columbia Okanagan, where he received a Bachelor’s degrees in Human Kinetics specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He then completed his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan.
Gunnar is passionate about reducing risk of injury and is determined to raise awareness and make available to all, evidence based injury reduction strategies. He strives to promote an active approach to injury management with accompanying manual therapy and dry needling techniques to help facilitate recovery and return to life, work and play activities.
ABRA Baal

Abra completed a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia along with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Having been raised in small communities in BC’s interior, Abra has a love for the outdoors and a lifetime commitment to active healthy living.
Her treatment approach has a focus on client-centered care, utilizing hands-on treatment with adjunct exercise prescription and education to alleviate current symptoms and prevent future injury. As she strives to provide the best care, Abra has completed additional training in myofascial release, manual therapy, functional dry needling/intramuscular stimulation, shock wave and clinical Pilates.
When she is not in the clinic, Abra enjoys spending her time swimming, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding and travelling.
Bhuvan Mahana

Bhuvan has been working in the field of physiotherapy nearly a decade now and his treatment style has developed ever since. His treatment style includes a blend of manual therapy, exercise reactivation and injury prevention. He is certified in manipulative therapy for spinal issues, UBC Gunn IMS technique and functional capacity evaluations.
He completed his Master’s in Rehabilitation Science in 2019 from the University of Manitoba. Ever since Bhuvan has more than six research publications in his name in esteemed peer review journals.
VICTORIA MAGA

Victoria holds a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatoon and a Bachelor of Athletic Therapy & Kinesiology from the University of Regina. She has a diverse clinical background, including inpatient and outpatient care, stroke rehab, and post-op care. After taking some time off to be home with her 4 daughters, she is grateful to be able to provide Physical Therapy services again for her local community.
Her approach focuses on the whole picture of health, including prevention and living a healthy lifestyle. She balances a full life of homeschooling her children, farming and staying involved in her home community.
Eric Walper

Born and raised outside of Hanna, Alberta, Eric completed both high school and college at Red Deer Polytechnic, before going on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Immunology from the University of Alberta, graduating with distinction. He later completed a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in Edmonton.
His clinical practice is rooted in postgraduate training in manual therapy, pain science, and functional rehabilitation. He is licensed for Alberta’s restricted activities, including spinal and peripheral joint manipulation, acupuncture and dry needling, imaging referrals, and pelvic examinations—allowing him to deliver a comprehensive and efficient approach to care.

Noémie graduated from Concordia University with an Honours degree in Athletic Therapy. Building on her passion for sports medicine, she pursued a Master's degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University. She moved to Victoria in 2023 in search of new adventures and the West Cost lifestyle.
Throughout her career, she has cultivated a diverse clinical experience having treated varsity athletes, worked in a hospital setting, completed an internship in India, and treated seniors in a home-care setting.

Cyril is a Registered Physiotherapist, an internationally educated graduate with 24 years of experience in hospital and clinical settings. He started his career in neurology at Paraplegic Foundation in Mumbai, India and also worked under Dr.Ali Irani ( Former Indian Cricket Team Physiotherapist) in Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, India. He owned a clinic for 15 years in India, specializing in stroke management, neck & back care, arthritis, post-operative rehabilitation programmes.

Tommy Yang

Tommy holds a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He was previously a swim instructor for the City of Richmond and a swim coach for the Special Olympics.
Drawing from his personal and professional experiences, Tommy understands the physical and emotional challenges that are associated with rehabilitation. Tommy approaches treatment with an open mind, using a combination of hands-on techniques, personalized exercise prescription and education to facilitate recovery.
Ben Vuong

Ben completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge. He has returned to his hometown of Lethbridge to provide the community with high quality care.
Ben’s approach to treatment is primarily exercise-based and education, although he does utilize other treatments like manual therapy. He works with patients to help them understand their personal injury and cooperatively develops an individualized treatment plan. He provides his patients with confidence, knowledge, and resources to better self-manage and prevent future injuries.
Ben enjoys anything between playing board games to going on hikes with friends and family. He spends a fair amount of time weightlifting at the gym to improve upon my own health and fitness, as well as challenge my body’s mental and physical capacity.

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in the Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. My interest in physiotherapy started and continues to grow with my participation and love of sport. I am keen to continue expanding my skills and knowledge as a physiotherapist by completing post-graduate training in manual therapy techniques specifically.
My treatment style consists of manual therapy, functional dry needling, prescription of therapeutic exercises along with education for prevention and management of any ailment. I enjoy working with all clients of all activity levels and ages to restore function, reduce pain and increase mobility and strength. My aim is to work closely with client’s goals and health needs to develop an individualized treatment program to get them back to where they want to be!

With experience in high-volume outpatient clinics and work conditioning environments, Metin emphasizes practical recovery helping patients return safely and efficiently to work, sport, and daily life. Before practicing in Canada, Metin was involved in healthcare operations and rehabilitation services management, giving him a broader perspective on both clinical care and system-level decision-making. Gina completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at UBC in Prince George, focusing on rural health.
As a former tree planter, she is no stranger to overuse injuries and the impact they can have on the body. Her approach to rehab is educational and uses a combination of exercise and manual therapy, aiming to give patients the tools they need to get back to doing what they love. She has completed additional training in IMS dry needling, cupping and soft tissue release, knee injuries, pelvic floor physiotherapy, vestibular therapy, and is OrthoDiv Level 1 certified.
JANA SCOTT

She has been practicing as a physio in both the private and public sectors for the last 7 years in the Rossland/Trail area, where she grew up. She not only has a passion for physical rehabilitation post injury but is also a keen advocate for injury prevention and optimizing functional movement patterns to allow clients to perform at their best in both life and sport.
She has experience in acute care, neuro rehab, orthopedics, pediatrics and residential care. This gives her a unique understanding of the resources available in the community and the best combination of client education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to help clients return to their fully functioning selves. Heric is a physiotherapist from São Paulo, Brazil, holding a degree in Biological Science and Physical Therapy earned in 2004. Apart from his studies, Heric played professional team handball in Brazil and was part of the national team during the 2000-2004 Olympic cycle. He concluded his sports career when he moved to Canada in 2005. With over 14 years of experience in Calgary, Alberta, he relocated to Vancouver Island with his family in 2019.
